So a lot of black wool arrived today ready to get going with my black edged granny square blanket.

I had it in mind to make about five of these for Christmas presents and one for me.

I measured out a good size on the floor and think 14 x 9 would be a good.    This is 126 squares.

This makes a total of 630 squares for all five blankets.......we will see what happens lol.

    The blanket is looking really good, I am going to follow you to see if you manage to get 5 blankets done before Christmas. You have certainly made some delightful blankets already, I loved the one for your boyfriend, the blue one.
